tickets Tickets for EUR 7.50 (grass pitch) or EUR 9, - (seats) plus VVK fee are available online, at all ticket agencies of München Ticket and during the event daily from about 19.00 clock at the box office on the Königsplatz. A precise (pre) sale is not possible with us. Whether chair or lawn - there is free choice of space. Tickets for the dress rehearsal on 25 July cost EUR 5.00 plus pre-sale fee. There are NO different categories, but there is completely free space on the course.

Age rating The official age rating of the films can be found in the respective film description. Basically, if the film is over after 0.00 clock children and young people under 16 years only in the company of a parent or guardian to attend the screening.

approach There are hardly any parking spaces around Königsplatz. You can relax by bike or with the MVG line U2 (Königsplatz subway station) to the Kino Open Air.

Food & Beverage Of course, your physical well-being is taken care of: at many stands there are international delicacies, cool drinks, popcorn - just everything that belongs to a nice movie night! Please refrain from bringing drinks in any packaging and fragile dishes - thank you! Visitors can also have their food delivered by select restaurant partners directly from the deliveroo delivery service Deliveroo to the venue this year.

Movies All films are shown in the German version. In the middle of the movie there is a little break.

General information The bringing of your own chairs, etc. is not allowed for safety reasons. Blankets, pillows or anything else you need for a cozy picnic is of course no problem! Dogs are allowed on the Königsplatz, but are on a leash.
