Kino Žriedlo - Bardejovské Kúpele

From tomorrow after the forced shutdown, he starts to re-project Cinema Žriedlo in Bardejovské Spa. In the meantime, the traffic of the cinema was decreasing, the Bardejov citizens visited mainly the cinema in Prešov. In 2009, the average movie traffic was about 3,000 people per month, five years later, in 2014, it was only 67 people per month.

In November 2012, a new sound technique and a temporary video projector were installed in the theater. Since then, cinema has to be digitalized. After the project was finalized, a competition was launched and a financial assistance of € 35,000 was received from the Audiovisual Fund's contribution. Bardejov is involved in the project with two-thirds. Overall, the digitization project came out at around € 145,000. A professional 3D projector, a projection mirror, a backup source, and the required software were purchased from the Audiovisual Fund's contribution.

The Bardejovs have finally come to terms. From tomorrow to Wednesday, May 4, 2015, the cinema will be screened - at first it will be a spirited film Fifty Shades of Gray (2D) and Cilling and Zver-Nezver from 8.3. and the 3D movie Zver-Nezver. The cinema will be technically one of the best equipped in Slovakia. Finally, the Bardejovs will also enjoy quality picture and sound. After this change, the cinema will become a so-called multipurpose public service center.

The cinema will also be able to showcase 3D sports, an opportunity for learning and various forms of entertainment. The 3D projection is transmitted through a stereoscopic projection. For the audience, passive 3D glasses will also be made to create a perfect plastic illusion of a three-dimensional space.
