Múzeum ľudovej architektúry - Skanzen

Ethnographic exhibition presents folk costumes, domestic production and folk craftsmen from Horni Saris. It gives a clear picture of the lives of previous generations. Folk clothing is documented here in developmental stages. Crafts are installed in two planes. They capture the development of craft and technology of production. The greatest attention is paid to pottery (production of clay vessels), hat production (production of hats), shoemaking (production of shoes and boots), pernikarstvu (production and decoration of gingerbread), candle production (candle making), woodworking mainly shinglery, fencing, etc. The exhibition also presents sacred folk art, sculptures and glass paintings. The Ethnographic Exhibition is a smaller, permanent exhibition of the BARDEY BODY DEPARTMENTS and the LEKAR EXHIBITION set up in 1996. On the area of ​​50 m2 there is a 19th-century pharmacy equipment installed.

The open-air museum is the oldest of its kind in Slovakia. It was made available in 1965. On an area of ​​1.5 hectares, a total of 24 exhibiting objects are presented in the park and garden setting - an etnopark, which presents the folk culture and construction of two ethnicities: Slovak and Ruthenian inhabitants living in the region of Upper Šariš and North Zemplín. They date back to the 19th and 20th century and typologically belong to the Carpathian-type wooden structures.
