MAIN COURSE

The main railway station at Kjekstad was started after the club foundation in 1976 and was completed as a full 18-hole course in 1988. This is a distinctive forest designed by Jan Sederholm, giving the player the absolute natural experience. It is virgin in an alternating woodland with mountains, water and a lively wildlife.

Kjekstad's new short-haul course was completed in spring 2004. The course was designed by Jan Sederholm, and is very idyllic in a separate park / forest area in close proximity to other club facilities.

It is focused on a first class quality cardboard course, with large green areas, strategically placed bunkers, and very nice variation in the length and character of the holes. The course is open to players without green cards / hcp, according to players with minimum Hcp 54. Each player must have his own kit, possibly rented in the Proshop.
