"The Theater Hive"

... was born on the initiative of a few passionate theater and music lovers, who in 2007 acquired a room with a prestigious past and charged with emotional ties with the inhabitants of the region, La Ruche. Transformed and arranged between 2007 and 2009, on own funds. Then begins an ambitious cultural project, whose motto is to buzz in the different areas of the performing arts. With low resources and a lot of volunteering, an extremely diversified offer is developing in the first season: auteur and entertainment theater, music in all its forms (jazz, French song, rock, pop, improvisation, humor, ...) She creates her own troupe and offers the possibility to many companies to develop such as Cabaret 2000, Acabit, Las Estrellas Andaluzas, Improcarolo, and many others. La Ruche Théâtre meets the demand of an ever-growing audience of around 18,000 spectators a year, who wish to spend good moments of relaxation in a friendly place. It has three performance halls, including one with 300 seats, a dance hall, a restaurant and a terrace. Its associates and creators: Anne Fievez, Eladia Cerrato Sanchez, Daniel Branswyk, Eric Stassen, Daniel Gauthier, Luc Stiévenart, Thierry Piron and Thierry Ledent.
