The m.a.x. museum, opened November 12, 2005 on the initiative of Max Huber-Kono Foundation, from 2010 it became a public institution of the city of Chiasso. The objectives is the desire to spread the knowledge of the graphic art, design, photography, as well as of contemporary visual communication. This museum aims is to build a bridge between the past and the new generation of graphic designers through exhibitions, conferences and meetings. Once a year, the visitor has the opportunity to see, in addition to temporary exhibitions, even a small section about the important graphic and pictorial creations of Max Huber (Baar 1919 - Mendrisio 1992), among the most important graphic designers of the twentieth century .
