In the Customs Museum there is accumulated and exhibited historical, documentary, visual and audio material related to the past of the Lithuanian Customs. Since 2008, the renewed Museum of Customs has been able to discover the intriguing history of Lithuanian customs from the oldest to the present day by means of modern and interactive means. Visitors will also be able to get acquainted with concealed smuggled goods in a special sea container and will find out what measures are being taken by customs officials in the fight against smugglers. At the Customs Museum, excursions for children of all ages and adults are organized. You also have the opportunity to visit a special educational program where the customs kennel will introduce the features of professional dog training and tell more about everyday customs assistants for dogs. Visitors of the museum are also able to see the exposition of smuggled objects, which is located in a special sea container inside the museum. Here you will find out everything about the present fight against smugglers. The Customs Museum offers tours with a guide for children and adults. You can also participate in our educational program with a customs cynologist who will explain everything about dogs and how they are trained to serve. The visit of the museum, as well as tours and educational programs, are free of charge. But please contact us in advance if you want to visit the museum.
