Museo Carlo Zauli

The Museo Carlo Zauli is a container which, since 2002, through its collections, and the various cultural activities, explores and disseminates contemporary art in all its languages, with a focus on ceramics, traditional local materials.

In fact it located in Faenza, in the city center, within the premises which were since 1949 by Carlo Zauli, one of the most representative sculptors of 900, of which promotes the work and history.

The space, which is the exhibition of cultural production, created immediately after the artist's death draws redesigned so that recounted his work and recreate, with current tools, the vitality that had always characterized the atmosphere.

The museum houses two permanent collections: one dedicated to Carlo Zauli and composed of works by contemporary artists.

It places conservation, storage and dissemination of the work of the sculptor Faenza through the Library Management, traveling exhibitions, publications, events dedicated to him.

E 'has become in recent years a point of reference in the production and dissemination of contemporary art, with its diverse cultural activities in the vanguard and experimentation: the Artist's residences, to the cycles of conferences, to contemporary music festivals, as well as educational courses for children, students and adults, until the opening of a Fab Lab.
