Museum am Dom

The permanent exhibition in the Museum am Dom in Würzburg, opened in March 2003, shows works of art from the 10th to the 21st century. Their tense and togetherness of old and new art is based on their own museum concept, which bundles and introduces the presented works through headlines - verbs such as "hope", "admonish", "testify", which are deliberately actively formulated to personally attract the visitors to appeal.

Since its redesign in January 2007, the museum has over 40 new works on display, including a newly acquired crucifix by Tilman Riemenschneider and his workshop from around 1505-1510.

No matter with what knowledge and training a guest enters the museum, the visit is definitely exciting and promises new discoveries.
