Muzeum papírových modelů Police nad Metují

The Museum of Paper Models was opened in 2012 in Polička nad Metují and became the second oldest museum of paper models in the world. Besides small private museums, the museum is the largest permanent exhibitor of paper models in the Czech Republic thanks to more than 1200 exhibits. It represents the development of paper modeling from the oldest known paper cutout from the 16th century, through the models from ABC magazine to contemporary art. It exhibits works not only of modellers from the Czech Republic, but also from Poland, Slovakia and Germany. The exhibition, which was attended by almost 80 model builders, including authors and publishers, will please the visitors of all generations and thanks to their originality and uniqueness, visitors will be repeated.
