Openair Kino Idaplatz

The association Openair Cinema Idaplatz was founded on 19 November 2002. The first open-air cinema event on the Idaplatz took place in 1997 and was then still a project of community work Kreis 3 and the community center Heuried. The idea behind it was to form a group with film enthusiasts, which once a year should set up a film experience for the Idaplatzquartier.

To this day, the enthusiasm for this film adventure is unbroken, even if the board has changed in the meantime. The event will be planned at 6-7 sessions, the film selected and everything necessary organized so that the event succeeds in a small but fine party. All those who have worked together for the occasion then like to celebrate it a second time - to the traditional helpers dinner in autumn.
