Visit Museum Vaals - The museum presents its exhibitions in a monumental monastery chapel with beautiful stained-glass windows and wall and ceiling paintings. In this' colorful diptych box', the visitor is overwhelmingly surrounded by a unique collection of more than 200 beautiful saints with a height of 1 meter to 3,5 meters alternating with contemporary painting. Museumcafé - Opposite Museum Vaals stands in the park the very atmospheric museum café 'De Zwarte Madonna'. In this space, with room for more than sixty people, where you sit on antique prayer chairs from a Belgian sister convent, you can admire a beautiful bar made of two altars, church lamps, a confessional and a richly carved choir bench. The walls are completely filled with old religious prints and there are many small and large statues of saints. Monastery park - In the park and woodland of almost 2 hectares, in addition to the oldest tree in Vaals, there are several ancient and modern statues of saints. In the beautiful woods you can enjoy walking and watching including fourteen large and impressive Cross Stations.
