The inn was built in the year 1871 in the present buildings. Originally there were both inn, bakery and grocery stores. But the history of the inn dates back to 1617, and in 1749 the inn was given the royal privilege of Frederik 5. The rustic charm and authentic atmosphere have been preserved, but otherwise the inn has been through extensive renovation with more extensions and extensions. Thus, all the rooms are in a separate building in the garden.

The inn's cuisine serves Danish food at its best and the cozy restaurant is located in the old charming main building. On the menu you will find both the traditional casserole and the good English steak with soft onions. The Sunday menu consists of a clear soup with muffins, calves with cream sauce and homemade ice cream.

But the inn also serves a 5-course gourmet menu, where the high quality and the good ingredients are set to the top. In addition, the inn offers a 3-course local menu, combined with a taste of the inn's own spice cut.
