Tabivere muuseum

The museum has collected data and objects that reflect local history. Started with the legend of Kalevipoeg and its related sites and has come to an end in the near future. Permanent exhibitions tell us about different periods and are placed respectively in five spaces.

The birth of the Republic of Estonia and the restoration of independence have been recognized. A large part is in the War of Independence and related parties. Colonel Karl Parts was the Commander of the armored train division of the War of Independence, General Ants Kurvits, Commander of the Border Guard of the Republic of Estonia, General Johannes Orasmaa, Commander of the Estonian Defense League, and Contradictor Johan Pitka, creator of the Defense League, armored trains' organizer and fleet commander. One of the exhibits introduces local education and social life in the past, with linguists Johannes Voldemar Veski and Julius Mägiste and Äksi pastor Otto Wilhelm Masing playing an important role.

An overview is also available on the activities of the local fire brigade and sports enthusiasts and farmland in the years 1920-1940. There is no shortage of the collective-farm life. In the courtyard of the museum, in the garden of General Ants Kurvitsa, it is possible to see old agricultural tools and household goods.

In the manor park, Colonel Karl Parts, in front of the ruins of a former home, there is a memorial to him.
