Vilhelmina and Johan Johansson, proprietor of the village's trade bidding, current gallery, began in 1908 to arrange accommodation for travelers in the rooms on top of the trade fair. In 1917, the village's school activities moved to a newly built school. The Johansson family bought the old school buildings, built 1875-1892 and drove here Johansson's Pensionat. The former school hall is now our beautiful matal. In 1949, the Milk Center bought the guest house, which changed its name to Tällbergsgården.
Since 1961, Tällbergsgårdens Pensionat has been privately owned and since 1994, Åkerblad has owned the Åkerblad Hotel and Guest House. Over the years, Tällbergsgårdens Hotel has evolved into a modern hotel with Dala atmosphere and is now being used for conferences, groups and individuals. We hope you have a nice stay with us and you are most welcome back.
