Though with this tour you'll get to learn something along the way! Each food tasting will include a live interactive food demonstration, so you get to take home some Greek yummy food ideas with you. How about an 'OPA'?

One of the oldest food traditions in the world, the geography, climate and history, have all affected the process and choice of ingredients, which I have enjoyed learning about tremendously, and all of this has ultimately led to the creation of the food tour.

Thessaloniki has an endless number of possibilities for food, and after exploring the city’s many food ‘districts’, ‘off the beaten path’, and ‘hole in the wall’ establishments, we have compiled our 'best of the best" and want to share it with you!

The restaurants we've chosen are on the list because they've consistently been creating the best in Greek traditional food and singularly light up their food -- through their playful selection of flavors, use of fresh ingredients, and their own special creative culinary import or vision.

The evening will be a progressive three-course meal experience, meaning each of the courses is enjoyed at a different restaurant. Yes, we know – that’s three great restaurants in one evening!

This is ideal for those only staying a day or a couple of days, because you get a packed taste experience through sampling three different restaurants in one evening.

The menu has been hand-selected and offers tour participants a sumptuous tasting of a typical Greek traditional menu, while ALONGSIDE an interactive food demonstration will be happening.

So keep your eyes peeled -- because after seeing the courses demonstrated for you - you'll want to make them at home.

We start with μεζέδες or appetizers at your first restaurant to set your taste buds in motion, and move onto the second restaurant for the κυρίως πιάτα or main plate/entrée, and then it’s onto third restaurant to enjoy the επιδόρπιο or dessert – a whole taste ταξίδι or journey in one night.
