Description

Tuktuk is a village on Samosir, an island in the middle of the Giant Lake Toba. A favorite getaway among backpackers for a couple of decades already, it has become quite full of guesthouses and cafes, but surprisingly has not yet lost the charm. The setting is idyllic, overlooking the lake, and the area surrounding it is the hub of the unique and well-preserved Batak culture.
