PONTE CIOLO Watch the sea from over 20 meters high, be invaded by a jolt of adrenaline SANTA MARIA DI LEUCA The borders of the earth, "finibus terrae" MONUMENTAL WATERFALL An imposing work, completed in 1939, which boasts a length of over 250 meters and a vertical drop of 120 meters, with a flow rate of 1,000 liters per second that ends directly in the sea. THE SANCTUARY The Finis Terrae sanctuary was born on an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Minerva. THE PORT The port of Santa Maria di Leuca extends south-west of the lighthouse, between Punta Meliso and Punta Ristola and offers shelter from the dangerous sirocco wind and the storms that come from the South. THE CAVES The coast of Santa Maria di Leuca has a different characterization depending on the side from which you look at it: the one on the Adriatic (east coast) is high and jagged, that of the Ionian (west coast) is lower and more homogeneous .
