The design of the apartments was specially designed to create an atmosphere specific to the history of the location. Each decorative element has been chosen with great attention to details, solid wood furniture from spruce, wood flooring, grit tiles, antique, windows and exterior carpentry, all made in antique style to recreate the historic ambience. Iosefin Residence took over the name of the area as a symbol of historical buildings in the Iosefin neighborhood, originally called the Old Maierele. It was originally designed as a village of German colonists, on the one hand and the Bega Canal, with lush gardens, used by the bourgeoisie of Cetate. From 1773, after his second visit to Banat, the Emperor Joseph II of Habsburg accepted that this neighborhood bears his name.
