Ardenne namuroise - Naamse Ardennen

The Namur Ardennes is located south of the Province of Namur, near the French Ardennes. The municipalities of Bièvre, Gedinne and Vresse make this tourist country rich in discoveries. The nature is untouched and lush and a multitude of activities are proposed: more than 1000 km of hiking trails, mountain biking or horseback; River-related activities (Semois and coal); discovery of legends and the land through the valleys.

Packages "The rhythm of the Semois" and "Meet the legends of the Semois" 2 walking tours of 2 or 3 days allow walkers to discover the landscapes and history of the Land of Semois. There is also a formula "group" from 40 people offering a day in the Coal Valley with activities "custom" (guided walks or sports, historical presentations, musical entertainment, catering services 3, ...).

3 pedestrian rallies The Tourist Office offers throughout the year a series of 3 pedestrian rallies, a dozen kilometers each that lead walkers through villages, countryside and forests. These rallies allow participants to respond to questions playful throughout their ride. Many prizes reward the winners by year end (stays in cottages or guest chambers, gourmet meals, kayaks, ...)

New: GPS Tourism The Namur Ardennes partnered with the Tourism Federation of the Province of Namur to create some hikes, mountain biking, equestrian and auto / motorcycle: "History and Legends," "Magic and old mills", ... The principle is simple, just download (free) the desired circuit on a GPS via the website www.tourismegps.be and then the visitor is guided. Each time near a point of interest, an audio commentary is triggered automatically.
