What is Crann Og Eco-Farm?

A beautifully hand crafted paradise of 14 acres of natural gardens, trees, sculpted willow fedges, arches and domes.

‘Eco-Tourists’ come from all over the world to stay with us in the spring & summer months to enjoy the peace and tranquility. The simple quality of Crann Og has been recognised by Eco Tourism Ireland and it’s strict certification criteria as Gold Standard EcoTourism. This certification is recognised and ratified by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

The ultimate in ‘up-scale’ recycle building and a comprehensive reduce, re-use and recycle program give us an incredibly low carbon footprint.

The perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle. So close to all the action, yet far enough away to be another world. Utter tranquillity in nature.

We use dry composting toilets, solar heated showers and generally keep energy consumption to a minimum. All of the facilities, including the main house and Yoga studio, are constructed using re-use and recycle principles.

We are a showcase for sustainable living and avoid the use of potentially toxic materials in the construction and fitting of our facilities. We provide eco friendly soaps/gels, shampoos/conditioners & dish washing liquid in our facilities for our guests and for our retreats.
