In 1989 an employee disappeared inexplicably. The rumor was that he had collected very stressful material against the management and senior officials of the then PTT. Mr. F. Siegmund disappeared on 13 February 1989. Despite extensive police research, nothing has ever been learned from him. There is suspicion that there were espionage practices, bribery and ties with the international mafia in the high ranks of the PTT.

In the office at the Oude Vest, about 400 employees worked. It was the center of all communication in the Netherlands.

Over 26 years after the PTT employee's absence, his office was discovered by a group of students. In the space there are all sorts of clues that confirm the rumors surrounding his disappearance more than confirm. It is possible to enter the employee's old office, at full risk.
