Fioranello Golf Club was founded in 1979 in the picturesque Roman countryside, bordering the Appia Antica Archaeological Park, once owned by the Boncompagni Ludovisi princes. The Romans golfers appreciate immediately the little 9-hole course, perfectly inserted in their natural environment, and the characteristic friendly atmosphere that characterizes the Golf Fioranello, and in 1984 it is considered necessary an extension of the clubhouse intervention to cope with the substantial increase of new members. Soon also start projects for the realization of the final 18 holes, with works that also affect the existing 9-hole course and driving range. In 1990 Fioranello celebrates the opening of the 18-hole course, improved in recent years, and which today is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful trails and fun in Rome.
