Galerie de Stoker

Stoker Foundation is a collective of four artists from various disciplines working and exhibiting here: Bastiaan Meijer, Maroesja Lacunes, Jeannette van Brummelen and Saskia Lensink. They have an workshop here and manage the gallery and the beautiful garden together.

In 1991 a former tobacco shop in the Witte de Withstraat was transformed into a ceramic studio. Because the license plate was still on the door, the name of the gallery / studios was quickly found. There is now only one ceramicist. The Stoker has now housed woodworkers, a sculptor, a restaurator, an illustrator, painters, a fancy glasses maker, sculptors, a costume artist and a multimedia artist.

The Stoker has been surrounded by several workshops and galleries in recent years. These are former stores where artists are at work.

Exposure in the Stoker Gallery Every five weeks there is a new exhibition in the gallery. Exhibitors can sign up for this. The Stoker is open for fun ideas that can be found in the gallery room (20 m2) for a small fee. In addition to exhibitions, many special projects have taken place at De Stoker.

The Stoker will open the gallery on Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00.
