The Melesi Gallery is an exhibition space for contemporary visual arts founded in 1991. Directed by Sabina Melesi who turned his passion and love for art in a very appreciated by collectors working in the sector. Each proposal shows can develop a theme, a historical period or site-specific works made for the occasion by the artist involved. The exhibitions are always accompanied by a bilingual catalog (Italian and English). The direct and frequent relationship between artist and gallery owner guarantees the authenticity and quality of the works proposed. At the entrance of the gallery it was placed a permanent sculpture by artist Eduard Habicher entitled will kommen. The sculpture, made of two parts over 3 meters high, with two wings in red beams of steel, is an embrace that greets visitors entering the gallery. Conceptually the embrace welcomes, secures, protects; to "will kommen" (literally "I want to come") is answered "willkommen!" "You're welcome!". For Sabina Melesi, this work emphasizes exactly the welcome concept in its space, to see, to know, to exchange thoughts on art.
