Kino Samobor

The citizens of Samobor watched films in their town even before the Second World War. By 1954, films were screened in a private cinema, which then joined the National House of Education. The Hall of the House, in the building on today's Matica hrvatska Square 6, becomes KINO. For nearly half a century, over 5,000 movie titles have been screened in the movie with about 4,200,000 viewers.

From the beginning, cinema has represented the main places of social life of all generations. Throughout the year, filmmakers always tried to provide the most enjoyable experience, from the best movie program to the inexperienced kindness to the visitor. Even today, when it is possible to watch the latest hits with a minimum of delays from world premieres, Samobor cinema does not stop its pursuit of perfecting.

In 2013, cinema was digitized as part of the national project "Digitalization of Independent Cinema Displays". So now films are shown with the Barco DP2K-15C digital projector. As part of digitalization the hall is equipped with a new movie theater.

Because, after all, watching a movie isnÙt nicer than in a movie, right?

Working time and ticket prices
