In 1924, Friedrich Wesseloh built the "Hanli" (Hansa Lichtspiele) as the first cinema in Buchholz, which completely burned down in 1959.
As early as 1955 his son Ewald Wesseloh built the Delhi Center as the second cinema in Buchholz, today's Movieplexx, which was run by Ralph and Karin Wesseloh as a family business until 2002.
The cinema, which was completely modernized in 2005, now accommodates over 300 visitors.
The screen is 25 m² in both halls. The most modern sound system on the market, Dolby Digital, Dolby SR and DTS. The rows of seats are comfortable to walk with 1 m distance to each other. Wheelchair users can ride in the cinemas at ground level.
