The Museum of Tasso and the Postal History was founded in 1991, in two historic buildings in the medieval village of Cornello. Cornello was the place of origin of the family rate, known around the world for the literary work of Torquato Tasso and the entrepreneurial skills of some of his officers, who founded and ran for centuries the European postal service.

Directions: From Bergamo follow signs to Valle Brembana (SS 470). After passing the towns of Zogno, San Pellegrino Terme, San Giovanni Bianco, continue for Camerata Cornello (ca. 30 km).
From S. Giovanni Bianco, before entering the tunnel, turn right and follow the old road along the river Brembo; to ca. 200 m an easy path leads to Cornello dei Tasso.
