Museo Frida Kahlo

MISSION

Open the doors of the Frida Kahlo Museum to the public and preserve the house and its collection, fulfilling the will of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo to inherit the Museum from the people of Mexico.

VIEW

Transmit the interest of Frida Kahlo for the Mexican culture and identity through the conservation of the house museum, its spaces and personal objects to generate a memorable experience.

OBJECTIVES

-To achieve economic sustainability to open the doors of the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera-Anahuacalli Museums, to the public

-To have security systems for the protection of the property and the work.

-Offer a significant experience and excellent attention to visitors.

-To obtain financial funds to conserve and restore the collection and the Museum's property.

-Offer international quality exhibitions.

• Expand the offer of the Museum with different cultural activities to involve the public in the life and work of Frida Kahlo.

-To encourage the development of artistic sensibility as an integral part of the lives of individuals.

-Offer different, attractive and meaningful experiences of visits to the Museum; videogames, children's visits, dramatized visits, visits for people with different abilities, specialized visits, among others.

-To obtain the training and education of the personnel that works in the Museum to offer a better service and protect the collection and Museum.

-Diffuse the work of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
