ATTENTION: THE MUSEUM OF THE ENERGY OF SÃO PAULO IS CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE FOR ANY INDECTIVE TERM.

In its rooms, interactive equipment and activities such as games and film projections invite visitors of all ages to participate in scientific experiments and reflect on current issues involving energy and its future.

The history of the urban and industrial expansion of the city of São Paulo in the last 150 years is also present in the rooms of the museum.

The headquarters building of the museum is another attraction. Built between 1890 and 1894, when the Champs Elysées neighborhood was the most sophisticated address in the city, the mansion was the residence of Henrique Santos Dumont, brother of aviator Alberto Santos Dumont and one of the richest men in Brazil at the time.
