Giorgos Zongolopoulos (Athens, 1903 - May 10, 2004) was a Greek sculptor with international distinctions. He studied at the School of Fine Arts. He is one of the most important modern Greek artists with a multifarious and internationally recognized work. The best known of his works is his "Umbrellas", which represented Greece in the 1993 Venice Biennale, and are now on the Council of Ministers of Europe in Brussels.
