Oslo teatersenter

Oslo Theater Center (OTS) is for the stage art field, from grassroots to the professional. The organization was established September 2, 1975 and is a voluntary organization. OTS was first established as the Amateur Theater in Oslo, to gather and organize the conditions for the volunteer theater in the capital. In 2000, the name was switched to Oslo Theater Center, as the center also served the professional environment to a greater extent than before. In 1989, OTS started working with theater for children and young people alike. In 1990, the Oslo Theater Center started what would be the Rampelys Festival, a theater festival dedicated to children and young people's own performances.

Oslo Theater Center today has three core areas:   Performers in Performing Arts: For performing performing artists, the Oslo Theater Center is a versatile meeting place with multiple uses. OTS offers training venues, networks, costumes, props, courses, events and much more.

Performing arts with children and young people: A flagship for the Oslo Theater Center is expertise in the field of performing arts for children and young people. We will give children and young people a clear voice and a professional framework for exercising and exploring art.

Free and volunteer member groups: Free and volunteer performing arts groups can become members of the Network Performing Arts + here at the Oslo Theater Center. Members have a closer relationship with OTS, with benefits and ownership.
