We are not named Edvard Grieg for nothing. Like our namesake, we are both local and international, innovative and classic - and we are proud to hear from Bergen. With newly renovated hotel, 223 new rooms in addition to the 150 existing Brasserie X Restaurant, Bar Xtreme Room with views of the city mountains and not least Westland's largest conference department, we are always prepared, always focused.

The first thing you meet when you arrive at Edvard Grieg is our wonderful lobby, which, with its many height ceilings, delicate seating areas, large artwork and meter-high plants invites you to a meeting place with a relaxed and delightful atmosphere. Here you will also find Brasserie X and Bar X, which serves good food and drinks.

Our new conference room over two floors will definitely inspire you. With large open areas with views over wooded hills, it is easy to find motivation and ideas in our meeting rooms. Our large and flexible rooms make it a fun to arrange conferences, fairs, banquets, etc. for over 1000 people. We guarantee that!

Are you going on holiday? In our vicinity you will find Troldhaugen, Leos playland, Sandsli Bowling, High & Low Climbing Park, Waterfront and Fana Golf Course to name a few. From the windows you will see both fjords and mountains, and in the immediate vicinity is Bergens largest shopping mall.

On the top floor we have a new great fitness area, where you have a view as far as the eye can see, both east and west. Is there a better training motivation? In that case, it must be the corresponding TV lounge area. New in 2016 is that the hotel offers free washing of your sweaty exercise noise so you do not have to pack it back in the suitcase!

Throughout the year the hotel is the place to be for families with large rooms of 35 m2. We also have activities and playrooms in all school holidays. In addition, we have partnered with Leo's Lekeland, the largest indoor playland in Bergen, which is only a 3-minute drive from the hotel. Here, our guests get half price. In the summer we are extra child friendly with activity leaders, treasure hunting, activity rooms, children's menus and more.
