The Felicie restaurant in Vilnius is located in the heart of the Old Town, on the Aušros Vartų street. The gastronomic traditions of this place have been in existence since the 19th century. Historical data suggest that, even 120 years ago, the place where the restaurant is now located was already a gastronomic store called FELICIE. Thanks to the help of the ancient culinary books and the abilities of our chef's chef, we reopen the secret of our old Vilnius cuisine. The old Vilnius culinary culture, as well as the historic multi-ethnic city, was characterized by spectacular variety of dishes. However, the wars of the 20th century, occupation and repression undermined the national palette of Vilnius, and at the same time the former culinary culture. Therefore, today, when Vilnius is once again a free and open city in a free European country, we must reclaim the losses that have suffered in the past and, in the light of our historical heritage, we must continue to foster the traditions that have evolved for centuries.
