Speicherstadtmuseum

A museum to touch! Griepen, rubber bales, coffee sacks and tasting dishes: In the authentic framework of a more than 100-year-old warehouse, the Speicherstadtmuseum displays typical goods and tools from the traditional warehouse companies and trading houses in the Speicherstadt. Historical photos and plans illustrate the history of this unique monument in the world. Other topics are the coffee and tea trade and the Ewerführerei, i. the transport of goods with barges to the stores.

The Speicherstadtmuseum is a privately operated branch of the Museum der Arbeit.
