Teatr HaliBut

The Halibut Theater was founded by Halina and Jan Machulski's Theaters in 1999. The inauguration of this informal creative group was the staging of Boguslaw Scaeffer's "Test". The performance won the 2nd Prize of the Audience and the 3rd Prize of Organizers at the PUPA'00 Festival. Another project was the exhibition of art by the same author. "Retrieved" in 2001. In the same season, an initiative was launched under the slogan "Summer with Molier", which created an outdoor performance based on "Świętoszka". Year 2002 brought the premiere of "Second Room" by Zbigniew Herbert. At present Halibut Theater has started work on the experimental project Ob. An action was also taken to promote artistic activities of different types under the name of "HALIbut visitors", initiated by presentation of "Dziadów" performance performed by listeners of ARSUS Theater Theft.
