Teatro del Lido di Ostia

The project of the Public Theater and participated in the TDL now contributing artists, youth groups, associations and cultural workers of the Town Hall X. The permanent system of co-programming that results is the result of a constant dialogue between the parties with respect to the synthesis of the expectations and the cultural needs of the area. The management model developed so abolishes the figure of the single artistic director and sublimates diverting the duties of a collective body: the Artistic Committee, made up of five industry professionals elected in the Shareholders' Meeting. The presence of the Artistic Committee involves on the one part a socket of radical position with respect to decision making, since no decision is taken individually; the other, an extremely extensive expertise, which can build on a number that is the way and the engine of the whole experience. Precisely because of this diversity during the last months were triggered numerous positive processes of dialogue with the territory - the participatory planning tables, tool already last historical phase of the Lido Theatre. The table has participated in the same symbol and fundamental tool of the project: a meeting open and inclusive, welcoming, in which the community can actively recognize, express themselves, build their own idea of ​​theater. Through the tables, divided according to the artistic areas (Drama, Dance, Visual Arts, Music, Education and Territory), the Association of Associations TDL has been able to accept the demands, proposals, suggestions from all bands that populate our territory, and then translate them into a program of excellence that would respect, broadening the imagination.
