We are located on the property of the Podvin castle (from the 14th century), 2 km from the old town of Radovljica, 2 km from the Slovene national temple Brezje, 7 km from Lake Bled, the Triglav National Park, 35 km from Ljubljana, 20 km from the international airport.

Villa Podvin was completely renovated in 2007. The villa has 7 rooms and an a la carte restaurant, run by one of the most famous Slovenian chefs, Uroš Štefelin. Uroš buys forgotten traditional Slovenian dishes and beverages, uses seasonal ingredients from the home garden and from surrounding farms. With modern techniques and own creativity, the heritage dishes are upgraded to the dishes of new Slovenian cuisine.

Enjoying the food is also interesting because of the Slovenian souvenirs that decorate the restaurant and testify to the rich cultural heritage of Slovenia, and guests at home resemble Slovenia. Uroš creates unique culinary souvenirs, which you can also prepare at home, as they share their recipes with guests. Wedding rituals, weddings and garden parties in the mighty garden under the stars are unforgettable.

Guests are welcome to relax in our tented garden, try the home grown vegetables, plant your own seeds, learn how to garden and partake in one of the culinary workshops where under the chef Uroš's expert eye you will learn how to prepare some of the cooking creations.
