Agriturismo Serragambetta

The Agriturismo Serragambetta is located between Castellana, known for its caves, and Conversano, the City of Counts. We are in the hills of the South-Eastern Murge. It is the countryside of the Trulli and dry stone walls, of the centuries-old olive trees and of the red lands, of the Masserie and of the holiday houses. It was built around 1880 by the doctor Domenico Lanera, as a summer residence.

One hundred years later, its history begins as an organic farm. Since then Serragambetta has been constantly evolving: looking at the needs of the times, while preserving the inspirations and objectives of the beginnings, the respect of the original architectures and the maintenance of gastronomic traditions and authentic hospitality. So to bake bread and pizzas you use the energy of the flames of the bundles in the wood oven; for the wireless Internet connection the electric one produced by the new photovoltaic system. The sea is only 12 km away, but for a refreshing dip in the morning or a relaxing and fresh reading, the swimming pool definitely comes in handy.
