The Aschaffenburger Golfclub e.V., founded in 1977, is one of the most renowned and traditional golf courses in the region. The AGC impresses not only by extremely interesting fairways, but also by the wonderful views of the fantastically beautiful region of Vorspessarts. Due to its location in the Hösbach market, between Rottenberg and Feldkahl, there is a fast and easily accessible connection to the nearby A3 motorway.

The golf course is located at about 300 m altitude and includes a very well-maintained and varied 18-hole course (par 71), a 6-hole Academy course (par 3, public) and a driving range with practice area. The club can look back on a 40-year history and feels committed to the long-standing tradition as well as the current requirements of a modern golf club.

Youth work, popular and competitive sports as well as social interaction shape the club. The tournament calendar offers a variety of open and in-club tournaments. The AGC is sporty very ambitious and is with several teams in the HGV and in the DGL at the start. The youth work includes varied activities for children and adolescents. Last but not least, women's, men's and senior golf offer members numerous opportunities to go around the world together.

Characteristic of the Aschaffenburg Golf Club is the partly hilly terrain with water hazards. On the first nine holes you first play through wooded area, later the terrain opens up noticeably. Sporty demanding on some tracks to overcome a few meters. The view of the nearby Kahlgrund compensates the player but for the small climbs.

After a short break in the cozy halfway house, the second nine holes offer completely new perspectives, both visual and sporting. Here you can enjoy the panorama to the fullest. One looks at Aschaffenburg and the surrounding communities and with a correspondingly good view up to the peaks of the Odenwald. The fairways on the second half of the season require clever course management, but are all fair, usually well visible and less hilly than on the first nine lanes.

The beautiful terrace with stunning views invites club guests and players to linger. The restaurant "the heigenberger" impresses with perfect food in a beautiful ambience. Fresh food and gastronomy with modern and traditional dishes are also available to non-golfers.

FORE, the official club magazine of the Aschaffenburg Golf Club, is published with two issues per year and is available on the premises for guests and members. In it you will not only find everything worth knowing about the club, but also feuilletonist contributions of individual club members, tips of the pros, rules and of course tournament results.

Anyone who wants to get an up-to-date overview of the weather and space events at any time can access the live image of the webcam on the AGC website, which is attached to the gable of the restaurant. Up-to-date information, pictures and reports can also be found on the Facebook page at any time in parallel to the homepage.

Guests are always welcome on the property, there are no start times and no prior registration is necessary. New membership models make it easy for those interested to get started in the fascinating world of golf.
