Cafeneaua Publica

The Public Cafe is a program of the Iaşi Community Foundation and the Bookstore Bookstores through which we intend to form a community of people eager to engage in debates and active participation in the public life of Iaşu.

Organized in the form of a regular meeting in an informal setting where Yesseni interested in addressing issues that concern us all, the Public Café aims to discuss and identify solutions to solve some of the city's specific problems and which require a restricted budget.

Having the motto "We meet. Debate. We do, "the format of an edition of the Public Café unfolds within two hours and includes:

• a session of presentations: we have invited guests from different fields depending on the topic: public and private sector specialists or representatives of civil society;
• a debate on a theme of common interest;
• a section of proposals / project presentations: the projects are listed here and presented at each edition, and the participants are the ones who vote for the project that is worth implementing with the funds collected at the Public Cafe;
• a moment for donations: We organize a public collection at each edition, where each participant is encouraged to contribute 10 lei to support the implementation of community initiatives.
