Around the 1930s from Argentina, the Laengle couple and their family from Germany and Switzerland arrived in Chile. With the passage of time, they moved to the area of Vicuña Mackenna Avenue with Diez de Julio in the 40s, adding 3 restaurant lounges and a pergola shaded with vines for summer evenings.

In 1954 they settled as Soda Fountain, in the center of one of the flourishing communes for that time, Ñuñoa, Av. Irarrázaval near the square, adding to the specialties the fried cheese and pine empanadas that until today they give his fame. At present, and since then, those customers have been respected, and their pride from generation to generation makes us proud. The new generation Laengle formed by the Granddaughter and great-grandchildren have wanted to maintain the style of family atmosphere that has characterized them over the years, delivering a new contribution to the culinary history "The cheese pie with oyster".
