Globe Art Point.

WHAT IS GLOBE ART POINT? We are an independent center located in the center of Helsinki (Kamppi).

We distribute information especially useful for professional international artists and culture workers, by organizing surveys and researches. , by advising sessions for associations, projects and artists.

We do not have to worry about the need for a company and culture, and we can do it as well as work together.

We act as an advocate and representative of the Nordic-Baltic and global networks.

The Globe Art Point is established and managed by I.A.C.F. the International Artists´ Center Finland Association, funded in 2016 by foreign artists´ communities.

The Globe Art Point was supported in 2017 by the Finnish Cultural Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Culture.

WHY GLOBE ART POINT ON?

We are an independent operating center in Kamppi, Helsinki, which promotes equality and integration of Finnish art and culture. We want to build bridges between international and Finnish artists and organizations. We share information that is particularly useful for international artists and cultural workers living in Finland. We provide information on projects, financing, labor law and tax practices on our website. We organize seminars, workshops, discussions and lectures as well as conduct studies and surveys. We also provide advice to associations, projects and artists.

At our business premises, international art and cultural workers can create and develop their own networks and projects.

We act as a lobbyist and representative of international artists in cultural policy-making in Finland and in Nordic, Baltic and global networks.

The founder and administrator of Globe Art Point is the Finnish International Artists 'Center, founded by the international artists' community in the autumn of 2016.

Supporters of Globe Art Point 2017 are the Finnish Cultural Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Culture and the City of Helsinki.
