Internationally well-known names such as the historic Salzkammergut with its innovative traditional people and the Salzburg Lake District just outside the gates of the festival city of the same name have long been regarded as an insider tip for a beautiful golfing region.

All courses have one thing in common - they are in close proximity to one of our well-known lakes, such as Trumer Lakes, Mondsee, Wolfgangsee, Attersee and Fuschlsee. Not enough in most cases to have a lake on the green in view, is also the mountain panorama of incomparable beauty. Impressive mountains like Watzmann and Untersberg in the east, the Schafberg in the middle with cog railway or one of the landmarks of the Salzkammergut, the Traunstein in the west, are your companions when discovering our golf courses.

In 2016, 13 golf courses in the Salzkammergut and Salzburger Land all the way to the Bavarian Berchtesgadener Land have joined forces with 20 golf-friendly accommodation providers to offer you, as a golfing guest, even more attractive options at fair prices. The tourism regions Attersee, Attergau, Fuschlsee and Mondseeland stand competently to the side for all questions around golf and of course all activities apart from rackets and balls.
