Golfclub Bad Rappenau e.V.

The Bad Rappenau Golf Club is a relatively young club. It has existed since 1989 and put its 18-hole championship course into operation in the Fünf-Mühlental in 1992. The 18 fairways are generously laid out on an area of ​​72 hectares, about half of the square is designed as an ecological quiet zone with orchards, woody plants and wetlands.

The golf course has standard 72 / par 72. The men play 6 103 m, the ladies 5 372 m. It is challenging but fair and suitable for low handicap and beginner players. The course blends harmoniously into the hilly landscape of the Kraichgau as a young course and allows a lot of tees to enjoy a panoramic view, from the Neckar valley to the Löwensteiner mountains.

Many of the greens are hidden, are defended by sand bunkers and in the summer of dense rough. This requires a very precise game on many tracks and they are also a real challenge for "long hitters". The very long fairways 4 and 6, with 392 and 390 m, quickly forget all intentions to avoid the dense rough with precise iron beats. The handle to the wood is just hardship, if you do not want to be satisfied with a bogey at these holes from the outset. The inclinations on some tracks are also a special requirement of the skill of the players. Particularly interesting is the tee of the 9. You play at this par 3 hole, 130 m "carry" across the lake, which lies directly in front of the picturesque half-timbered clubhouse and the terrace. Every good blow to the flag finds admiration there.

The golf course is quick and easy to reach. Cities such as Mannheim, Ludwigsburg, Heilbronn, Mosbach, Sinsheim are only a maximum of 30 minutes away. Even on weekends there is no crowding, no tee time is required, except at tournaments.
