Golfclub Oude Maas

Oude Maas golf club was founded in 1975 and is a member of the NGF, the Dutch Golf Federation, as an independent association. The club has the sole association of playing and playing time on the track, operated by Rhoon Golfcenter BV. The beautiful 18 hole "parky polder course" with a series of troublesome waterholes - lies along the Rhoonse Grienden on the Oude Maas in a particularly quiet nature area.

The association aims to allow its members to practice the golf sport in the broadest sense. Both in recreational and in terms of performance, it is possible to participate in club activities. For this purpose, the golf club has a fixed percentage of starting times to organize competitions for the members in the coming years. This gives the golf club the opportunity to develop and execute a good contest program for the members at all levels. For the beginner golfer there is the club handicap committee, which can provide good guidance in participating in the first matches. For the advanced golfer there are also many special competitions in addition to Saturday matches organized by the competition committee, and of course the golf club participates in the league with many teams.

There are 12 committees (with a total of about 100 committee members!) Who assist the board to keep the association life as vibrant and sporty as possible.

The youth committee is working to assist the youth in the best possible way, in cooperation with professionals at the golf school Rinus Goor. The youth policy plan aims to train boys and girls to the highest possible level.

The association has a membership of approximately 870 members, of which about 10% is a juvenile member. The procedure for joining Oude Maas golf club starts with registration via the registration form. At this moment, the golf club does not have a waiting list and you can join. At the same time as membership (100 euros a year) you will need to purchase an annual subscription at Rhoon Golfcenter, allowing you to play golf and participate in the games unlimited.

You must have a Golf Proficiency Certificate (CFP) to play on the 18 hole course. In cooperation with the golf school Rinus Goor, aspiring members can get this CFP before joining the golf club.
