Harbor 2 is a wild mix of showroom, petting zoo, concert venue, café, movie theater, recreation area, studio and house club. Often even more: theater, fashion, discussions, readings. There is no term of just one word naming it meaningfully. For the sake of simplicity, we call it a "cultural center". If there is still time for further titling: "Interdisciplinary Platform".

We? This is the non-profit association "suesswasser e.V - art and culture in the port of Offenbach". Plus a network of many associated creatives.

Harbor 2 promotes progressive art and culture. Both actors and recipients should benefit from it and take inspiration, support social skills, develop the ability to criticize, enable self-realization, train taste formation, encourage commitment, expose phoney needs, encourage modern lifestyles.

Why are we doing it? Because we love to shape. That's what we do best and want the most. That's why we can not help but shape, design, design. Spaces, places, city. Here: the surroundings, the grounds, the house. The exhibition and the film program. The meadow days and concert nights. We enjoy changing this city through cultural creation. An industrial world has become a magnetic social place. This space became a place.
