Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster

The Pablo Picasso Münster Art Museum was opened in 2000 as the first and so far the only Picasso Museum in Germany. Behind the facades protected by historic monuments in the middle of Münster's old town, it houses a collection of over 800 lithographs from Picasso.   On 600 square meters of exhibition space, various aspects and sections of the extensive collection of the house can be admired. In addition, special exhibitions with loans from international museums and collections are devoted not only to the life and work of Picasso but also to that of his friends and contemporaries.

In 2010, the museum was renamed to the Pablo Picasso Münster Art Museum, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary by Pablo Picasso Münster. For the first round birthday, the house at the Picasso Square in autumn 2010 received its 800,000. Visitors.
