Visiting Picasso in Münster!

Das Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso Münster opened in 2000. It is located in the Königsstrasse, which was one of the most gorgeous streets in the Old Town. Inside this museum, you will find over 800 prints by Pablo Picasso, including almost the entire lithographic oeuvre of the Spanish artist. Picasso is not the only one you'll admire while there; you can also find his contemporaries and his artist friends (such as Matisse), since the exhibition space covers approximately 600 square meters. If you want to experience the definition of a "living history town", you have to check out Münster’s Prinzipalmarkt! From the beginning of the Middle Ages, the square was a special place for the ancient merchant families! In here, you can find lot's of gorgeous gabled houses, the Hall of Peace, several shops, amazing restaurants and fun cafes. The square is basically the heart of the city, since it is a place where multiple festivals take place, and where people meet and enjoy their afternoons!
