Meteorit Theatre

Industrial Meteorite Spaces of the former power substation in the Zapadoslovenská energetika building on Culební Street became the home of the Meteorite International Theater in 2008. Power capacitors have been replaced by the stage. Culture has taken on space that was originally devoted to the technique.

International Meteorite The International Theater Meteorit develops activities in the field of stage realization of classical and modern works, taking into account the requirements of the contemporary viewer. The Meteorite is trying to build a space in which different views could be utilized and approaches to current production processes, and also to create an environment for interpenetration of the cultures of the European region. Our work is intended primarily for the younger and middle generation of spectators who expect from the theater contemporary and modern means of expression and themes.
